The Christian Family Man is a God-given mission that He laid in the hearts of the conveners at different times and in different parts of the world. In His infinite wisdom, God connected the conveners, and in His time, The Christian Family Man — a Christian support network for fathers and husbands primarily, but not exclusively — was born.

Marriage and family are divine institutions established by God. From the very beginning, He declared, “It is not good for man to be alone” (Genesis 2:18) and formed the first union between Adam and Eve, entrusting them with the responsibility of raising godly offspring (Malachi 2:15). However, everything good and holy that God institutes faces relentless opposition from the enemy. The devil seeks to destroy the sanctity of marriage and the stability of family, knowing that they are the very foundation upon which strong societies are built.

In today’s world, we see an alarming increase in broken homes and fractured families. Divorce rates continue to soar, with society normalising separation as an inevitable outcome of marriage rather than fighting for its sanctity. What was once considered rare is now commonplace— a cultural expectation, where some even prepare for divorce before marriage begins. The struggle of raising children is another battle, as many parents experience heartbreak when their children stray from the path of righteousness, and society offers little hope for restoration. Regardless of faith, the challenges of marriage and family seem overwhelming, leaving many discouraged.

The consequences of these broken families are evident in society. Studies show that children from unstable homes often struggle with emotional, behavioural, and social issues. The absence of strong family structures contributes to crime, poverty, and a decline in moral values. Scripture warns us of this deterioration, saying “If the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?” (Psalm 11:3). The family unit is not merely a social construct, but God’s design for nurturing love, responsibility, and faith. The attack on marriage and family is not just societal; it is spiritual warfare. The enemy knows that by weakening the home, he can destabilise communities, nations, and faith itself.

Therefore, the conveners of the Christian Family Man — who also are fathers and husbands themselves — understanding the weight of responsibility in today’s perverse world, and acknowledging their own struggles, came together as inspired and as led by the Holy Spirit to share experiences and admonish one another with the Word of God, drawing from the wisdom of Proverbs 27:17— “As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.” As iron sharpens iron, they strengthen each other in their walk as husbands and fathers, and as men who believe and care about God, supporting one another in different areas as led by the Holy Spirit. By first allowing God to purify their own hearts, they have witnessed the Holy Spirit move through this platform, touching many men, especially those with young families, and those preparing for marriage. Through fellowship, prayer, and the Word, testimonies abound, and to God be all the glory.

The Christian Family Man stands as a beacon of hope, reminding men of their divine calling to lead, protect, and uphold the sanctity of marriage and family as the priest, prophet, and king of the home. In a world where destruction seems inevitable, God is raising warriors who will fight in prayer, faith, and truth, teaching one another the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15).
